HURST, TX -- The Bishop Lynch tennis program has made massive strides over the past two years under the direction of Head Coach
Natalia Prinz. Yesterday they continued that trend with a big district victory over Nolan Catholic 10-5 for the team's first win under Prinz.
The four Bishop Lynch women's singles had themselves a fantastic afternoon as they didn't drop a set in four matches.
Alex Gardsbane,
Brianna Murphy, and
Katherine Ramirez all defeated their opponent 6-0, 6-0. Ramirez played another match in which she won 6-0.
The women's doubles of
Kendra Berens and
Jacqueline Armour team found success much like their teammates as they went undefeated on the afternoon. In their first match, they won 6-1, 6-0 and in their second match, they won 10-0.
Michelle Boone and Isabella Chaump won a tight battle in their doubles match, 6-2, 6-3.
The young men's team had a couple of fantastic matches, most notably from freshman Cole Kruger. Kruger took down his opponent 6-0, 6-0 to earn a big point for the Friars and set the stage for men.
Foster James won his singles match 10-0 while the doubles team of Kruger and
Henry Sullivan took down Nolan 10-0.
Congratulations again to Head Coach
Natalia Prinz on her first career victory and to the Bishop Lynch tennis team on a great win.
