Bishop Lynch Student-Athletes Receive Lacrosse Honors

| By:
DALLAS — The Texas High School Lacrosse League and the Texas Girls High School Lacrosse League announced their All-District and All-State teams earlier this week, with six Bishop Lynch Friars earning postseason honors for their outstanding play this season.

The Bishop Lynch men's team accounted for five of the six selections, including one All-State nod. Junior midfielder Cole Gathings earned All-State recognition after a dominant season in which he tallied 28 goals and nine assists. Gathings was especially effective in district play, where he contributed 17 goals and seven assists.

Hudson Hatfield and Willy Patterson were named to the All-District team, while Robert Parsons and Tor Mosher received Honorable Mention honors.

On the women's side, senior captain Quincy Salinas capped off her Friar career with an All-District selection. Salinas became the first player in program history to reach 100 career goals and led the team in scoring this season.

These honors reflect the talent, dedication, and growth of Bishop Lynch's lacrosse programs. With a strong foundation and standout leaders like Gathings and Salinas, the Friars continue to raise the bar for excellence on the field.
