WACO - The Bishop Lynch men's golf team participated in the TAPPS Match Play tournament at the beginning of the week. They not only had a great time over the two day competition, but played well while they were there.

The tournament was played at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course. On the first day, the Friars competed against powerhouse Woodlands Christian, Beaumont Kelly and Antonian. They held their own against the Woodlands and Kelly but were defeated by the two Houston schools. In their final match of the day, the won against Antonian.

Woodlands Christian - 0-5
Beaumont Kelly - 1-4
Antonian - 3-2

On day two, the Friars split their contests against TCA and Midland Christian. Both were very tight and overall the men played great.
