DALLAS -- The Bishop Lynch men's golf team had a great day on the course yesterday, finishing fifth out of 25 teams competing at the Dallas Athletic Club.
Leading the way for the Friars was junior
Billy Gordon. He shot a 71 (-1), which was great for the conditions and had him finish third overall.
Owen Sibley was right behind him as the senior shot a 76.
Both the team leaders had long hole-outs for eagles during their rounds. Sibley had one from about 40 yards out on a par 5 and Gordon's was from 110 yards out on a par 4. Gordon overall finished with four birdies and the eagle.Â
Steel Wylie (86) and
Daniel Martinez (92) rounded out the team which finished with a 325.
