ARGYLE -- After starting the season
2-0, the Friars traveled to Argyle and lost to 5A power Argyle High School 57-41 on Tuesday. The men held the lead early in the second half, but the Eagles pulled away in the fourth quarter to get the non-district victory.
Bishop Lynch held a 24-23 halftime lead behind great play from seniors.
Cole Milkereit,
Aiden Schnurr,
Armando Navarrete and
Hayden Bauer combined for 14 points on 6-14 shooting.
In the second half, the Friars continued to play hard and get good shot attempts, the ball was just not dropping.
Baker Trent and Milkereit led the Friars in scoring, as they both had nine points. Milkereit added five rebounds and Devon Miller had three assists to lead BL.
