Bishop Lynch Men's Basketball Playoff Preview

DALLAS, Texas  — The Bishop Lynch men's basketball team finished as co-district champions in TAPPS 6A-District 2, marking its first title since 2019. The Friars posted a 24-12 overall record and went 5-1 in district play.

Due to a tiebreaker with Prestonwood Christian, Bishop Lynch secured the No. 2 seed and will host a TAPPS 6A first-round playoff game against Trinity Christian, the No. 3 seed from District 1. Trinity Christian finished the season 19-14 overall and 2-4 in district play. The area playoff game will be on February 18 with a tip scheduled for 7 p.m.

Below are the final district standings for all four TAPPS 6A districts.

District 4
  1. The Village, 20-13 (8-0)
