The Lady Friars showcased their offensive firepower in a pair of district wins, piling up 18 goals while allowing none in wins over Bishop Dunne and Prestonwood Christian.
Jillian Jackson scored five goals to go with three assists in last week's 10-0 destruction of Dunne, as the Lady Friars (4-2) scored five goals in each half.
Rowan Myers added a pair of goals and
Katie Visintainer added two assists.
Jackson netted four more goals in Monday's 8-0 win over Prestonwood, with
Genevieve Boisbrun tallying a pair of helpers.
Kira Osler (4-2) got credit for the wins and shutouts, making five stops against Dunne and a pair against PCA.
Emily Lozano got in the action Monday, making three saves.
The Lady Friars – like their male counterparts – have also spread the wealth this season, getting 27 goals from 11 different players and 16 assists from eight players. Jackson has a team-high 11 goals and four assists. Osler has 26 saves on the season and Lozano has made 12.
The Lady Friars head to Ursuline tomorrow for a showdown between the top teams in the district, with varsity action beginning at 6:00 pm. The girls will then hit the holiday break, returning to action Jan. 6.
