Box Score DALLAS -- Much like the first contest, the men's basketball team held their own until late in the game when #1 Prestonwood Christian Academy pulled away to the double-digit victory.

The final score was 72-57 in favor of the road team, but the final score did not show how intense this game was from start to finish. Behind Aiden Schnurr's 27 point out-break, the Friars were only down one point more than halfway through the third quarter.

Schnurr's 27 came from an offensive game that flourished during district play. The senior do-it-all made seven threes Friday night, tying his season-high. He is also making great drives to the paint, either pulling up from the elbow, taking it to the basket or finding open teammates.

Bishop Lynch is now on a two-game losing streak with three-straight road tests coming up at Nolan Catholic, at John Paul II and at Trinity Christian Academy.

Sub-Varsity:
The junior varsity defeated PCA 61-51 on Friday night to move their winning streak to 12 games. They are 18-4, 6-0 on the season.

The junior varsity 2 team had a Saturday battle at Rockwall and came away with a 60-45 road victory. They have won four games in a row and have a 17-4 season record.

The freshman team also won last Friday against PCA to move their winning streak to four and get back to .500 on the season. The team is now 11-11, 6-2 on the year.
